Cycling Screens by Repeated Layout Selection

In Top Orthographic and Perspective/Top Orthographic layouts, pressing the same layout shortcut or toolbar icon again cycles through the available screens for that slot.

  • Top Orthographic: cycles Top → Front → Right
  • Perspective/Top Orthographic: first slot cycles Perspective → Top → Front → Right

Screen Slot

In Top Orthographic and Perspective/Top Orthographic layouts, each viewport shows the current screen name label in the bottom-left corner. Clicking this label opens a popover where you can select a different screen (Top / Front / Right, etc.) for that slot.

  • If the selected screen is already displayed in another slot, the two slots are automatically swapped.
  • Perspective and Perspective/Top/Front/Right Orthographic layouts have a fixed configuration and do not support slot changes.

Screen Synchronization
