Street View

This document explains how to view and navigate street view data in the viewport.

What is Street View?

Street View is a 360-degree panorama or regular image captured from a specific location.

It is used as reference material when placing POIs or shapes while checking the actual appearance of the space.

Finding Street View Data

In AMapper For ARC eye, street view data is already loaded for each Location.

You can view it immediately without any additional setup.

You can find street view items in the provided Reference Stage.

  1. Find the Reference Stage in the left Hierarchy Panel.
  2. Check the StreetView underneath.
  3. Toggle visibility with the icon.

Entering Street View Mode

Street View Mode Controls

When entering Street View Mode (S), street view capture locations are displayed in the viewport.

Selecting Capture Location

  1. on a street view location marker displayed in the viewport.
  2. A street view preview window opens in the top right of the screen.
  3. Camera directions for each capture location are displayed radially.

Controlling Viewpoint

  1. + in the preview window to control the street view camera direction.
  2. For 360-degree panoramas, you can look around in all directions.
  3. The camera frustum display in the viewport shows the current viewing direction.

Moving to Another Location

If there are multiple capture locations:

  1. on another street view marker in the viewport to switch to that location.
  2. Individual images within each capture group can also be selected.

Layer Type Toggle

Quickly toggle street view layer visibility using the toggle button on the right side of the status bar.

Referencing street view images while creating POIs or shapes allows for more accurate mapping to the actual space.
