POI Editing

This document explains how to move/duplicate/delete POIItem in Navigation Mode (A).

In Navigation Mode​

  1. on the icon in the toolbar, or press A or Esc to return to Navigation Mode (A).
  2. Select one or more POIItem.
  3. + to move.
  4. Copy with Ctrl or ⌘+C and paste with Ctrl or ⌘+V. Duplicates are created at random positions around the original.
  5. Copy with Ctrl or ⌘+C and paste with Ctrl or ⌘+Shift+V. Duplicates are created at the same position as the original.
warning

POIItem copied/pasted at the same position is difficult to distinguish from the original.

Use this only when the original and duplicate need to share the same position.

Also, the duplicate is not connected to the GeometryItem that was connected to the original.

  1. Copy/paste works even after changing layers.
  2. Press Delete to delete.
  3. Press Ctrl or ⌘+Z to undo, or Ctrl or ⌘+Y to redo.

Angle Guide​

  • Hold Shift while moving/duplicating to display the angle guide.
  • The angle guide is displayed in 90-degree increments based on the X-axis.
